Greetings! I'm Soumyajit Pal, a fourth-year Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) student at VIT Vellore. My passion for coding, data analytics, and machine learning fuels my exploration of technology and innovation, while my academic background in ECE provides me with a strong foundation in embedded systems, circuit design, and communication networks. As the Projects Head of IEEE Professional Communication Society (PCS), I lead the planning and execution of technical events, workshops, and ideathons that bridge the gap between technology and effective communication. I have played a key role in organizing Place-It, Tech Survival, and Vision Venture Ideathon, handling event structuring, speaker coordination, and participant engagement. Additionally, I served as the Point of Contact for Student of the Year 3.0, ensuring smooth communication and logistical support. I completed an internship at ONGC in the Infocom (Information and Communication) department, where I worked on computer networks and SCADA systems, gaining insights into industrial communication protocols and real-time data acquisition. Beyond my technical expertise, I have been a Social Media and Technical Specialist at ADSPRO since 2018, where I manage the company’s social media presence, develop and maintain its website, and create engaging content ideas to enhance digital outreach. Outside of academics and work, my hobbies include following politics, watching and analyzing football and cricket matches, and learning Spanish. With an adaptive mindset and a problem-solving approach, I thrive on challenges and am always eager to learn, innovate, and collaborate.
