• Remote internship done under the guidance of Prof. Sameer Mathur IIM Lucknow.
• Project (Four Mini Project and One Major Project):
• Interns will need to complete a final project during the last few days of the internship. The project will be related to the Hotel Industry or the Airline Industry. It will provide the interns with an open-ended, unstructured opportunity to explore and apply the data analytics skills taught by me during the internship.
• This internship is divided into the following 7 modules and a project that will be completed over 4 weeks.
• Topics learnt:
• 1. Describing Data.
• 2. Visualizing Data.
• 3. Frequency Tables.
• 4. Correlations .
• 5. T - Tests.
• 6. Linear Regression: Ordinary Least Squares (OLS).
• 7. Analysis of Variation (ANOVA).
• Readings:
• The quantitative training using the R programming language will be supplemented by some qualitative readings on Data Analytics and Data Science.
• Cases from Harvard Business Publishing: During the internship, I will also expose you to how to analyse cases from Harvard Business Publishing.
