The research project was carried out for Final Year Dissertation Project for my Bachelor's degree in the Year 2021. In this internship, the whole research work was conducted in the lab.
The report was based on "Development Of Probiotic Health Drink By Lactobacillus fermentum To Reduce Fat" The source for the bacteria used was lemon pickle. Further, the morphological tests were performed that included motility tests and biochemical tests. Biochemical Tests further included citrate test, catalase test, urease test, and amylase test. After carrying out the biochemical tests nutritional analysis was done which included ph test, acid value test, carbohydrate, protein, and qualitative analysis of fat.
When this bacteria was fermented in the avocado juice, for the qualitative analysis of fat, it was observed that it is a fat-reducing bacteria thereby concluding that it is capable of reducing inflammations and avoid weight gain.
