• Created an in-house customized workflow engine using Kafka as a replacement of AWS step function to remove system scalability bottlenecks and optimize costs, increasing system capacity by 80x, reducing latency by 200 ms along with reducing service costs by 30%.
• Migrated existing monolithic service to micro-services to make the consumer facing service scalable, fault-tolerant.
• Launched master-slave architecture in MYSQL to scale out the DB reads. Created a dynamic configuration manager to render different user input forms for different billpay providers reducing onboarding time to 1 day.
• Built a secure and automated online platform to choose relevant insurance and sign up with a single click resulting in 2.15M MAUs. Introduced feature flag control framework in production code deliveries and also integrated Experimentation platform to control the product rollout based on treatment group and segmentation.
