• I worked as an Undergraduate intern in ISI Kolkata on Siamese Convolutional Neural Networks. Siamese Convolutional Neural Networks are a special type of CNNs which has two twin networks accepting two different inputs. They are joined by an energy function at the top. This function computes some metric between the highest level feature representation on each side.
• My work was to train the network to find whether two input images are similar to each other. For this, the Omniglot dataset was used. The final output of the network was a probability score representing the degree of similarity between two input images. The accuracy achieved was nearly 45%.
• Other than that my work also consisted of doing an extensive survey on the previous works of One shot learning.
