• As an SDE-1, I overhauled the pricing API architecture by transitioning from server-side (Java) to client-side, achieving a 42% performance boost and introducing a new endpoint to reduce server load while enhancing user experience. I developed a cross-platform application using Java in Android Studio, integrating 100+ Amadeus travel RESTful APIs, and implemented JUnit testing with comprehensive test cases to ensure robust functionality and reliability.
• I engineered a cost-saving feature that allowed customers to redeem accrued credit points for bookings, saving up to 100% on travel costs, and integrated a critical web service to support this functionality. Additionally, I enabled pre-booking credit card fee computation, providing end users with precise final pricing for bookings, including VISA and major card types, improving cost transparency and decision-making.
• Currently, I am leading an internship project to design and implement personalized travel recommendations using past travel history, leveraging emerging technologies such as Microsoft Azure services, RAG, and advanced LLM models (ongoing).
