• Built an image processing library using C++ for Liquid Mode: Acrobat’s Next-generation view for documents. This library is responsible for providing an enhanced image input to the pipeline for high quality OCR and ML ouptput as well as post-processing those predicted output. The library helped in increasing Liquid Mode for scan pipeline’s quality by 40%.
• Improved quality of heuristic-based components by tuning their parameters using Genetic algorithm. This helped in improving Acrobat Reader’s Liquid Mode pipeline accuracy by 0.8%.
• Developed a smart Read-Aloud feature for Acrobat Reader Mobile using heuristics to tune the voice narration parameters like pitch, word deliverance speed, break between sentences based on Liquid Mode pipeline’s results, improving user experience.
