  • Joined with less than a year of HR experience and spent 3 years figuring everything out - and I mean everything.
  • Started by defining foundational policies, planning off sites people actually looked forward to, and learning to be the voice for employees with leadership while solving grievances with care. Quickly learned to independently own performance assessments end-to-end from initiating cycles in the PM tool to driving leadership calibrations to closing feedback discussions with 80+ employees.
  • Then came the systems I'm most proud of. Drove a growth-focused mentorship program (not the consulting model) — matching 100+ employees with skillset-correlated mentors, defining the what and how for both sides, and ensuring every pairing was intentional about development.
  • But my favourite part was building Kickdrum University (KDU) - from sourcing talent that fit our culture, to designing structured training and mentorship, to converting 50+ interns into full-time hires at 85% conversion. That work earned me the Drummer Award twice (2023 and 2024).
  • Watched the company scale from 40 to 100 people while I grew from a generalist learning the ropes to someone independently driving business partnering strategy. Three years of learning, building, failing, iterating, and real impact - it's been the most wholesome ride.
