I’m Head of Product at Truesec, a PE-backed tech company, working across portfolio strategy, innovation, and international scaling. I’ve spent 15+ years in product, strategy, and growth roles, including several leadership positions in technology companies going through scale. Most of my experience is in businesses on the path toward the $100M mark - the point where growth becomes a structural challenge, and capital allocation, focus, and discipline matter as much as speed. I typically work at the transition from early product-market fit to scale-up structure, in technology-driven environments with complex offerings spanning products, platforms, and services. This is usually the phase where teams move from startup momentum into multi-product, multi-market organizations, often around the $30-60M range where the foundations for scale are built, and into environments pushing beyond that. That’s where the harder questions start to matter: where to invest, what to scale, how to evolve the portfolio, how to align teams around the right priorities, and how to add the structure needed for the next phase of growth without losing speed. I’ve been part of three growth journeys so far: - Arelion - scaling to the world’s #1 internet backbone, ending in a $1B exit - Telia Division X - building new business in IoT, cloud, and advanced data analytics - Truesec - scaling a cybersecurity platform across SaaS, managed services, and consulting My work has spanned Europe as well as global initiatives, often in markets with very different dynamics. In these roles, I’ve focused on portfolio decisions, product evolution, and market expansion, while building the clarity, focus, and operating model teams need to perform at scale. More recently, I’ve worked on realigning product portfolios to embrace agentic AI capabilities, helping unlock new growth opportunities while keeping real customer value at the center. I write about the scaling paradox - the structural tensions leaders face as companies grow, and the role of AI in scaling organizations.
