About

If you’ve spent any time on the Internet, you’ve probably seen my work. Over a decade helping content creators and brands to reach hundreds of millions of eyeballs, generating $1.6M in Adsense revenue, over $2M in Brand deals, $1.3M in Subscription revenue and over $200K for charitable causes. I’ve led my career by selfishly following my own interests, spanning YouTube, culture, sport, gaming, fashion and comedy. In doing so I’ve had a career full of fun and more failures than I can count. Some highlights include: - An 8-part “Biggest Menace” series featuring the UK and US’ biggest pranksters., Niko Omilana and Jidion, delivering 78M views and driving $390K in AdSense. - Pranked the leader of the KKK, resulting in 46M longform views and a couple of billion impressions on reposted and clipped content. Many credit this as 2022’s best video on YouTube. - Launched an agency for subscription creators, generating $750,000 in our first 12 months of operation, managing an exclusive roster of 23. On average we 5x’d our creators’ monthly earnings and 8x’d their social growth. - Relaunched Business Podcast “Secret Leaders”, growing it to 1st in UK Careers charts and 2nd in the UK Business charts behind Diary of a CEO. Interviewing Deborah Meadon, James Watt, Frank Smith, Tom Kerridge, Herman Hauser, Nadhim Zahawi and Simon Squibb. - Ran Combat gaming livestreams partnering with EA Sports, Activision Blizzard, EPIC Games and over 150+ celebrities to raise $200K for charity, reaching tens of millions of live viewers and over 2 billion Impressions. - Signed England and former-Chelsea footballer Mason Mount to Combat Gaming as an ambassador, alongside a roster of content creators including Manny. - Led content and creative for Gareth Bale’s Esports team, Ellevens. Including signing the first in-game shirt sponsorship in FIFA with Duracell. - Organised a circus and 3 removal vans outside Downing Street and branded it “Clowning Street” to call for the resignation of Boris Johnson. I was threatened with arrest on Terrorism charges. Upon reflection, maybe not the best idea. - Partnered with The Burnt Chip to generate 49M views across 28 videos. Highlights include trapping YouTubers in a London townhouse for 50 hours in total darkness, 24hr Go Kart races, a 2 week TukTuk road trip across Sri Lanka and staying in the world’s deepest hotel. - Launched a student media company, Tyro Magazine reaching 40% of UK Students a month, with a small but mighty editorial team of 3 and 350 student writers.

Ogilvy & mather

Social & Content Manager, Ogilvy Labs

May 2016Aug 2016 · 3 mos · London, United Kingdom

  • After my second year at University, I joined Ogilvy as part of their now-defunct "rough diamond" initiative - which supported non-traditional routes into the advertising industry under WPP veterans Nicole Yershon and Rory Sutherland.
  • My role as content manager gave me a quick introduction into the world of advertising working on campaigns and pitching to the likes of Cadbury, British Airways, and Unilever.
  • As part of the 5-strong Ogilvy Labs team, which supported some 23,000 Ogilvy colleagues and 330,000 WPP colleagues, our goal was to bridge the gap between agency and innovation - meeting with start and scale-ups daily, often involving emerging technology like virtual and augmented reality and spatial computing, and finding solutions for the major brands marketed under the WPP group.
  • An example of this was a project I led in partnership with What 3 Words utilizing Pokemon Go's mapping systems, we were able to manipulate and spawn data inputs and correlate them to an ISPs public WiFi hotspot. This technology was ideated, built, delivered, and sold to BT within 24 hours for an undisclosed fee.
  • During my time, and with the support of Rory Sutherland, our team successfully led a semester of learning for employees, partners, and clients on the Future of travel and the nighttime economy. During our live event, it was announced by TfL for the plans of the London Underground to introduce the night tube on Fridays and Saturdays.
  • One highlight was the opportunity to host a podcast as part of WPP Radio in a thought-provoking conversation between former JOE.co.uk CEO, Will Hayward and advertising legend Dave Trott.
