• Created a project for Gas Leakage Detection and Prevention implemented using an ATmega16 microcontroller as the brain of the system, Gas sensor for sensing the gas leakage in the area, GSM Module for sending the message onto the owner's phone as an alert SMS for the leakage at the house, and LCD for displaying the live status of the leakage of gas in the house. In this project after sensing the leakage by the LPG gas sesor the alert is transmitted to the controller and then the controller sends a SMS on the owner's phone using the GSM module and alert the owner about the leakage and furthermore shuts the lights and appliances in the house and turn on the emergency lights.

The approach was to connect the energy meter to the solar panels placed over the house and to connect each and every switch placed directly to the main line so that we can easily detect and prevent the electricity theft.
