My relationship with technology began with questions - endless, curious questions. But over time, I’ve come to believe that I didn’t just choose technology; in many ways, it chose me. Growing up in a home where dinner table conversations often spiraled into tech debates and gadget dissections, I found myself instinctively drawn to the inner workings of things. Pursuing a BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering at IIT Roorkee felt like a natural extension of that childhood curiosity, and complementing it with a Minor in Computer Science gave me a more complete lens through which to understand the digital world. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege to walk through the corridors of innovation at D.E. Shaw, Texas Instruments, NXP Semiconductors, Amazon, Google, and now, Qualcomm. Each experience has added a new dimension to my understanding, shaping both the engineer and the human in me. And through it all, I’ve come to see technology not just as a career, but as a conversation between imagination and reality - a lifelong dialogue that began with wonder and continues with purpose. After all, some journeys don’t begin with a step - they begin with a question!

I was a part of the Asset Backed Securities team. There are a lot of scattered data sources that traders use to make informed trading decisions. One of such sources is the thousands of broker emails that are received everyday. My task was to analyse these emails, devise a parsing logic to extract financial data out of these emails, design a modular backend system for this task and a normalised database design for storing the extracted data. I finally added some selectables (caches) over the database for fast retrieval of data.

I was a part of the Motor Drives team. My project was based on the BLDC ceiling fan reference design. I carried out placement and routing changes in the board's layout as we changed the MCF package from 40-pin QFN to 24-pin TSOP. Another task was to get a setup where we have a remote control over the speed of the fan, essentially a motor. I programmed the MSPM0 in ARM and also established an i2c communication between the MCF and the MSP to give a functional demonstration. I made some changes in the regulator board design specifications also. We also carried out some regulator evaluation experiments for the DC bus voltage and the capacitance at TI's High Voltage lab.
