• Project 1 : Personalized Sign in
• As a software engineer in the core sign in team at eBay, I got an opportunity to work on this project, where we provided personalised and faster sign in options to our users based on their previous behaviours, device compatibility etc. This improved sign in success rate of our customers which accounted to annual revenue impact of +40M$.
• We built this great quality project with a huge revenue impact with 0 production bugs, which later paved way for many other highly impactful projects.
• Project 2: Profile Update Batch Application
• Created an end to end Spring Boot application to up date our customers legacy data using a ML model + libphonenumber library from google. The custom logic i developed saved eBay an estimated one time cost of 130,000$, with incremental savings on thousands of $s every month.
• Project 3 : Blocked Credentials
• We block the users who are trying to reset their password to a compromised credential available in the dark web. Worked E2E on this project. Everyday we protect around 4-5k eBay customers through this.
• Project 4:
• Developed Consent page for our customers, to enable silent auth and reduce sign-in friction for our low risk users. We saw 80% adoption rate with millions of users already enrolled into this. This also contributes to thousands of $s saved every month via sms costs to eBay. Worked E2E in the development of this project.
• Project 5:
• Created standalone generic plug and play components for our org which are used across projects. Some of them are phone input, tracking provider, OTP verification component etc.
• Project 6: RNPCI Migration
• Worked on securing our applications by moving them to RNPCI zones from existing environment.
