With a degree in Industrial Engineering and Business Studies, Víctor Martí started his career as an engineer in the Supply Chain department at Danone Food Company. After five years, he pivoted to the entertainment industry and founded an audiovisual production company with a group of partners. Although this initial venture didn’t succeed, it introduced him to the world of audiovisual post-production during a crucial period of technological transition from analogue formats, 35mm film, to digital formats. In 2009, he founded Postflow, a company dedicated to supervising the post-production of films and series in Spain. For nine years, he led and expanded the company, managing a team that oversaw the post-production of more than 30 audiovisual projects. These included mainly international feature films, but also series, documentaries, and commercials. In 2018, he joined Netflix as the Post-Production Director for Spain and Portugal. Since then, thanks to his innovative and strategic vision, he has increased the local industry’s quality and distribution standards and brought to life the first Netflix self-managed post-production facility in the world, in Tres Cantos, Madrid. Starting in April 2024, as the Head of Production for Netflix Spain and Portugal, he has expanded his role and responsibilities to lead the production, post-production, visual effects, and safety teams overseeing all of Netflix’s local content, including films, series, documentaries, reality shows, and non-fiction shows.
