About

Product leader with a track record (8+ years) of building, growing and scaling consumer and platform products across lending, capital markets, cross border remittances and risk management. At present, I am building products at Tala, a mission-driven fintech backed by PayPal and Google using proprietary data and AI to offer digital financial services in emerging markets. I lead the Identity and Trust (Fraud prevention) product charter, spearheading platform strategy for AI-powered credit underwriting, while keeping millions of Tala users safe from fraud vectors (ATO, synthetic identities, SMS pumping, etc.) Previously, I built consumer products at Vested Finance, an alternative investments company enabling Indian citizens to diversify their wealth. I scaled the Identity function for their US Investing product and also built a cross border remittance product from scratch, working closely with the founders. I began my product journey at Karza Technologies (acq. by Perfios), one of India's largest microservices provider for banks and financial institutions. Specifically, I built a comprehensive B2B SaaS platform for assessing counterparty credit risk by profiling 25 million Indian businesses. I am passionate about solving customer problems by creating delightful and intuitive experiences. I am extremely strategic in my approach to delivering business and customer value and have been recognised for my customer obsession, attention to detail, analytical decision-making and end-to-end ownership attributes.
