• As part of the Promotions and Offer Intelligence team, I contributed to building scalable, high-impact systems that power offer discovery and personalization across Flipkart.
• I led the engineering of Location-Aware Offers, extending the offer ecosystem with zonal and pincode-level intelligence by integrating Location Repository APIs and introducing Forced Regional Utilization (FRU). This enabled precise inventory control and laid the foundation for hyperlocal pricing strategies.
• I played a key role in scaling the Offer Automation system to handle over 2 million requests in under 10 minutes, identifying bottlenecks, introducing async processing, and tuning Storm cluster resources. This effort significantly improved system availability and predictability under bursty, high-concurrency traffic.
• During Big Billion Days, I contributed to the Price Lock feature, driving ₹275+ Cr in GMV. I owned the cross-service contract design and validation workflows, helping the feature reach a 64%+ redemption rate across verticals.
• I also revamped the Offer Adoption Intelligence logic by transitioning to historical adoption values stored in HBase (Yak) via Sniper, improving offer relevance and accuracy. Additionally, I designed and built a reusable Optional Offers system, introducing a secondary Aerospike index and a Delayer Queue topology to ensure eventual consistency and improve BCD computation reliability.
• I provided zero-downtime support during Flipkart’s BBD sale, ensuring system stability at 242K QPS (5.5x BAU traffic) and delivering critical production fixes across Offer Intelligence and Discovery platforms.
• Throughout, I focused on scalable design, backward-compatible rollout, system observability, and performance validation via load testing and custom alerting frameworks.

• Developed an escrow solution for an SG based fintech startup rolled out as " Payouts-As-A-Service" with $1.5M 5-year revenue potential to facilitate users utilized wallets , cross-border payments and core banking functionalities. o Build a robust and scalable foundation for the PaaS platform utilizing a combination of Java, Spring framework, MySQL Databases, Redhat OCP, Kafka and Jenkins. Architected a sophisticated multi-level wallet solution comprising over 25+ REST APIs which empowers users to perform a wide array of wallet-related actions. Enhanced code extensibility by following design principles & refactoring leading to highly modular code with minimal changes. Leveraged JSON-based libraries to facilitate data interchange between different components of the platform using JSON policies. Engineered the Adapter, a critical component responsible for payload conversion, validation and processing large datasets. Engineered File Management Service, a file-based validator, which processes large files by chunk-division and generates reports. Implemented Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) for container orchestration, ensuring a resilient deployment env. Improved software latency with optimized SQL queries performed JUnit testing with code coverage above 80%.

• Built a full stack GraphQL application to develop a healthcare database platform using GRANDstack(GraphQL, React, Apollo, Neo4j Database) to store and display patient’s health records which were earlier stored in the form of a non relational database. This included creating a web based platform to fetch the patient input data at frontend using ReactJS and Material UI libraries, connecting the frontend to Neo4j using GraphQL mutations and queries and creating an appropriate GraphQL schema to store the data coming from user filled forms in the graph database.
