The project assigned was to improve member work ability and indirectly improve
the efficiency at service part area in Paint Manufacturing in plant-2.
After identifying the main problem , data corresponding to all the service parts
coming in , the number of skids unloaded everyday along with the weight one
member had to handle using pure muscle effort was collected and organized .
The collected data was used to brainstorm different kaizen ideas for improving the
work ability and efficiency while keeping in mind major factors i.e safety quality ,
productivity ,cost and ROI(Return on investment).
After about 14 ideas , 15th idea was finalized because of almost nil constraints , least
modification and high ROI .
