About

Great vision without great people is irrelevant, it's all about having the right people onboarded on the bus and they drive you to the right destination. Nearly half of my career journey has been with Zoomcar, where I've led and built individual teams and moved on to head the engineering team with the goal to deliver excellent products with agility. I'm lucky to have experienced the 0->1 journey a few times at Zoomcar itself, first scaling the owned-inventory business, then building a multimodal mobility rental business of cycles and electric scooters enabled through IoT devices and now scaling the car-sharing marketplace business across emerging markets in India, SEA and MENA regions. Started my career with the R&D division at TCS for the first few years and then took a leap of faith to dive into the interesting world of startups where I got an opportunity to work with talented individuals and great leaders at Tinyowl and ShopX. What keeps me going daily? It's building anti-fragile platforms and teams, that imbibe resiliency as their foundational principle. Solving hard problems through simplified engineering that is scalable when needed is what I yearn for.

Core team member handling entire real-time Fulfilment for the orders. This includes building order allocation to free CS agents algorithm, pushing order to Merchant App and assigning a Delivery person to that order and then providing live updates of order till it gets delivered to the user.
Built Promise Engine which analyses real-time Delivery charges, Estimated Time to Delivery and Delivery person availability for a restaurant. This helped reduce overall cancellations by 5% and increased transparency with consumers.
