Hi there! 👋 I'm Watan. I’m a Backend Engineer who loves turning complex business problems into elegant, scalable engineering solutions. Over the past 4+ years at Spinny, I’ve worked on everything from real-time pricing engines that power car sales and procurement, to event driven financial audit services that automate reconciliation across hundreds of APIs. Implemented custom Keycloak-based Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication flows, including an OTP-only login plugin for external vendors and a custom django-keycloak integration package for internal staff, making secure django admin dashboard access seamless across multiple platforms. Along the way, I’ve helped: - Reduce API response times from seconds to milliseconds - Build microservices that send 100k+ emails during festive campaigns - Design event-driven systems with Kafka, Celery, Redis that scale with business growth - Improve security and onboarding with Keycloak SSO plugins and custom authentication flows What excites me most is the mix of system design and real-world impact: seeing how a well-built microservice can boost conversions, streamline vendor onboarding, or cut weeks of manual work into minutes.
