About

I’ve spent over a decade designing SaaS products and digital platforms. Some for early-stage startups trying to get their first 1,000 users. Some for enterprises, where the designs had to work for millions on day one. At Microsoft, I built the Service Trust Portal (and walked away with a Best UX Designer award) and led UX for a Conversational AI platform. At SHL, I led design for assessment and talent platforms used by people across 150+ countries, creating interfaces anyone could understand. Across all of it, here’s what I’ve learned: Great ideas lose momentum because the product was harder to use than it should have been. When the path isn’t clear, users don’t stick around. The designs that succeed are the ones people can navigate instantly. It’s how fast a user understands it. It’s the moment they know exactly what to do next. It’s the difference between “that’s nice” and “I’m coming back tomorrow.” Too many products get this wrong. This is because no one is connecting business goals with what the user actually experiences. So I started Drop Cap Design to create exactly that. I design experiences that feel obvious the first time and effortless every time after. We start with the user’s reality, map the path to value, cut everything else, test early, break it, make it better, and obsess over the details most teams never notice (but users always feel).
