• Lead a team of 3 engineers for the development of Taxonomy Service, the source of the classification data at Groupon. I was responsible for the service architecture, geo-redundancy, performance, and scale of the service. The service was able to scale up to 30 QPS with a 99th percentile latency of <20ms.
• Lead the development of the Discussion(Q&A) Service and all its components in Customer Service UI (Cyclops), Merchant Centre, and Customer facing Deal QA page.
• Made multiple infra improvements in Customer Service Engineering tools. Optimized the test suite to bring down the build times from 60 mins to 7 mins and optimized the deployment scripts that brought down the execution time from 50 mins to 14 mins.
• Developed a chatbot (Eliza) to automate the complete deployment lifecycle from logging a ticket to service deployment, post-deployment verification, and publishing a success message, right from within the team's instant messaging service(Slack). This enabled the team to roll out small updates more often.

• Designed and developed the client-side architecture and crafted the APIs for Groupon’s public API.
• Did the end-to-end implementation for self-service refunds and credit issuance.
