About

Jamie L. Smith is an entrepreneur and business leader. Jamie is currently launching Double U Advisors Inc. - stay tuned! Jamie is a Co-Founder of Amplify Advisors. She continues to do sales and business development but left the organization summer 2025. Jamie always knew she wanted it all; a husband, kids, & an important job. Her biggest lesson to date is getting over the illusion that you can have it all & do it all yourself. So she's surrounded herself with epic teams; family & friends to keep the dream alive. Jamie held many roles as a business owner. Over 7 years she had the Chief Experience Officer title. She led the Client Experience and reinforced the values & purpose of Amplify. She ran the strategy, brand, partnerships, marketing & growth of Amplify. She had two of the operational departments as well as the Growth (sales) team reporting to her for most of her tenure. Finance Leader services included Fractional CFO services and full outsourced accounting and finance. Recruiting included placing CPAs in permanent and temporary roles. AmplifyTech included emerging ERP services and the partnerships with Oracle NetSuite and Acumatica. Jamie is an experienced Finance Leader having worked over 15 years in Big Four, as Amplify’s 1st Fractional CFO serving clients for over 3 years as well as other industry roles in accounting & finance. She is excited to leave financial strategy work in the past and focus on other areas of leadership. I am a business leader, wife, mother of 2 boys & 2 dogs, CPA, & friend, to name a few of my favourite roles. I'm a lover of reading, craft beverages & wine & entertaining. I'm an okay writer & a try-not-so-hard golfer, but I passionately do both. I try to have lots of living in my life, & I am excited about these things & more. As a mom, I want boys who eventually contribute to society. As a business owner, I want a chance to do the same. I'm humbled to have helped lead an epic team that gets to do this every day. I am excited and fearful to find my next. I am revamping my values & likely pushing forward with: -Curiosity-Courage-Communication-Compassion-Commitment

  • Building - Stay Tuned! SERIOUS BUSINESS in the works!
  • At Double U, we believe sustainability doesn’t stall because of a lack of ideas - it stalls when leaders get blocked. Bottlenecks build, projects drift, and teams get buried in the day-to-day instead of moving forward.
  • That’s where we come in. As your wingman for leadership, our AI-enabled Fractional Leaders step in to UNBLOCK what’s slowing you down - whether that’s decision bottlenecks, misaligned teams, or systems that can’t keep up.
  • But unblocking is just the start. Real growth happens when we help leaders and organizations UPLIFT - elevating performance, building capacity, and creating space for teams to focus on what matters most. We bring clarity, capability, and connection, so your business doesn’t just get moving again. It takes flight.
  • Behind every Double U leader is access to training, AI-enabled tools, and a connected network of peers. We don’t just place executives - we equip them. That means when you work with us, you gain a wingman who arrives ready, supported, and able to level up.
  • Our promise is simple: Unblock & Uplift. Another “you” by your side to help you rise higher.
  • We provide fractional leadership - Operations, Sales, Marketing & HR. When capacity isn’t the next step we have proven frameworks to support and we provide advisory services. Leadership Liftoff is available to solve growth bottlenecks. CEOs and Founders get clarity, a plan and execution support. You shouldn’t have to be everywhere or fix everything. With us, you won’t be trapped in reaction mode or slowed by the success you built. AI Literacy & Leadership Sprint is also available.
  • We do not provide financial, accounting, or CFO services or hire for finance, accounting or legal functions.

  • I am a Co-Founder. While at Amplify, every day I worked with the epic team. It was humbling to lead such professionals that are dedicated to Client Experience, our values and our purpose. I helped us stay on track and provided the support to allow the team to live our values, prioritize Client Experience and achieve our “why”.
  • At the end of my Amplify tenure, I was the CExO and I had the “Visionary” seat which means I led our strategy, external efforts and brand, culture and client experience. I kept the focus on our most important priority which was Client Experience. I did this by re-enforcing the values and by reminding the team of our why and our purpose.
