• I studied the application of Spline Function Approximation (using MATLAB) in the use of Ground Penetrating Radars (GPRs). The study involved using a GPR to capture the terrain of the soil several metres below the surface, and then extrapolating the readings using spline approximation to construct the topology of the underground terrain.
