About

I’m a UX researcher & Design strategist with a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction and over 9 years of experience applying design-led, mixed-methods research to shape early-stage product innovation. With a background in communication and new media design, I specialize in uncovering deep user insights and translating them into strategic direction for emerging technologies. My work sits at the intersection of research, design, and strategy—informing the development of digital products and services that are inclusive, future-facing, and grounded in real user needs. I’ve led cross-functional research across domains such as smart cities, decentralised finance, and context-aware systems, working with partners including Samsung, ARUP, DEFRA, and various startups. I bring a unique combination of academic depth and industry pragmatism, able to navigate ambiguity, influence stakeholders, and deliver insights that shape product vision and user experience. From ethnography and co-creation to speculative and systems design, my approach supports product development, strategic foresight, and scalable UX strategy. If you’re building something meaningful and insight-driven, let’s connect!

  • ‘Story of Urban Food Chain’ – a public art experiment’ explores food concepts beyond the table through a technology driven multi-modal installation interfaces. Bringing out the paradox of choice, the installation, is constructed at the intersection of new media and food politics, where food and technology traverse at a common meeting ground resulting in varied results. Through carefully crafted interactions and an element of humour in the dialogues, people can interpret the story of the ‘Urban Food Chain’. It uses novel interfaces, ubiquitous objects and interactions of everyday life, to interact, explore, engage in reiterating consumer choices in everyday life. With an objective to critically question the existing urban food culture, subconsciously alter perceptions of individuals; and encourage them to make informed decisions as a consumer.
  • The project was a self-initiated research and design endeavour
  • Thesis required for the successful completion of the master's degree at National Institute of Design
  • Outcomes as publications and exhibitions
