At Scapia, I head the HR function working closely with the founder in shaping the people & culture charter, across various touchpoints that impact the employee experience. We are a travel based fintech start-up on a mission to empower people and offer a great travel experience via our co branded credit card. Prior to this, I was associated with Khatabook, a fintech start-up where I head the talent management function. I invested the early days of my career in a hi-growth startup, InMobi and dabbled with functions across TA, HR Ops, HRBP in global roles. Then, I complemented the startup experience with a stint at GE Oil & Gas leading the HR charter at two of their tech centers, Bangalore and Hyderabad. Here, I had the opportunity to drive large scale change management interventions as we went through a demerger from GE and acquisition of an AI based company in San Francisco. Besides, working with global leaders in a matrix structure amplified my appreciation for systems thinking, building a process mindset while thriving in ambiguity. The exponential growth of tech startups in India amazes me and the variety of problems that gets solved by young India fascinates me. It's an opportune moment of the 21st century as we build cutting edge technology that will shape human behaviour prominently. I'm passionate about scaling teams, shaping practices aligned with culture and coaching leaders to drive business value through people.
