Was honoured to be one of the fewest MTs to get a meaningful Brand role right at the start of their FMCG career. GSK was the mecca for learning pure FMCG marketing in great depths (and width) and an outstanding chance to be mentored by the best.

Summer Intern

First exposure to building a business during internship at XLRI Jamshedpur.
Built a sustainable and profitable business model for alternate channels specifically Tea Shop (HTS) Channel.
Tea Shop channel is a very big offline channel in South India especially, with over 10k+ shops just in TN (back in 2013). The likes of HUL and Nestle were selling multiple categories like tea, coffee, biscuits etc and had sizeable business coming out of this channel. GSK wanted to convert the unorganised selling of Health Food Drinks (Horlicks, Boost) into an organised business model, and build inroads for its several other categories.
Built an unconventional mix of product, pricing, channel margins, manpower planning, servicing, route optimisation, margins and marketing to break through the challenges.
Result - Awarded Best Internship Project (Marketing); Given PPO in Marketing
