About

"Do the best you can. Then when you know better, do better." This simple idea has guided my journey over two decades, through multiple career pivots, and into the heart of climate action. My career began in the corporate world, where I spent 17 years working as a talent, leadership and performance coach. I had the privilege of collaborating with CEOs and business leaders across various sectors, helping them enhance team productivity and drive performance. These years taught me a great deal about human behaviour, leadership, and the power of collective action. But as time passed, I found myself increasingly drawn to a different challenge—one that affects not just individuals or businesses, but the entire planet. My curiosity about the impact of conscious consumption on climate change led me to establish Beej in 2019, India’s first plant-based premium accessories brand. Building Beej gave me a rare opportunity to not just create products but to shape an entirely new category in India. As the business grew so did my understanding of the space, and the nature of the scope of the problems we are tackling. I realized that while we made great bags, that alone wouldn’t change the world. I now knew better and wanted to do better! This realization led to the birth of Reverse The Stripes (RTS), a consulting practice that views sustainability through a social lens. Our work is centered around climate-based storytelling, integrating sustainability into business processes, and advising on CSR strategies that encompass climate, gender, crafts, and sustainable livelihoods. When I’m not working, I dedicate my time to speaking at panels and educational institutions across India, sharing insights on sustainable consumption, entrepreneurship, and innovation. If you’re interested in collaboration, advisory, or simply want to chat about sustainability, I’d love to connect. Drop me a DM, and let’s explore how we can make a difference together.
