Joost de Kluijver — CEO
Having worked in tech, large corporate and international non-profit, I'm lucky enough to know what works best for me: commercial entrepreneurship that delivers more than financial gains. I've lived, worked or studied in the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Malaysia, Tanzania and Poland. In line with my business and personal ambitions, I started Closing the Loop. The company creates value for tech sellers and buyers thanks to a dead-simple green service called 'One for One'. It makes tech users even more proud of their devices. And it creates value by turning e-scrap into income in the emerging world. We help our customers in the global North align electronics consumption more of to their values, by linking their purchase to electronic waste reduction in the global South. What makes my company unique is our hands-on experience in the latter, gathered since '12 .
