My journey in talent acquisition and HR started in 2008 more by default than a choice. But from the first call to a potential employee, to the first offer, talent acquisition became my passion one hire at a time. Over the years I have scaled engineering, sales, client success, business technology, and G&A teams for both product and services company. My most significant achievement was to build & scale the Slack India office from scratch. - Was the only TA, HR and non-tech hire in India for a year. - Scaled the engineering team by 60%. - Advocated to the Department VP's, using data to hire for Biztech and Sales team in India. - Helped design & scale the HR function & was the India culture ambassador for 2yrs. - Working closely with C-level executives to grow India office. I love making sense of chaos using data, solving difficult talent & people problems, and nurturing & building culture in an organization. I can be described as honest, transparent, kind and a go-getter. With me what you see is what you get, but with finesse. I love reading, writing and visiting bookshops and libraries wherever I go.
