About

I am trying to solve the problem of efficient learning. I don different hats to meet this end. Sometimes a leader, manager, teacher, content creator on youtube, a salesman, and marketer of ideas. The thorniest hat of all - that of a dreamer. I dream and try to build stuff and I think this is best way of learning. All of this is directed at one thing: to help our generation become better learners than the generation gone by. For now, I am focussing on programming. But, I aspire to solve the "problem of efficient learning" in all domains, which helps people become creative and efficient in delivering services and products.

Founder

Oct 2017Present · 8 yrs 5 mos · Delhi Area, India

  • I founded Pepcoding in Dec 2017 to work on "Creating life-long learners who are capable of solving problems and who love to solve problems."
  • Since all my time and energy is spent on Pepcoding, I'll use this space to write about what Pepcoding does. Through Pepcoding, we have been working on upskilling students with their coding skills. We deliver our services in our classroom center in Pitampura, Delhi, and zoom for online purposes.
  • We have also built a very robust youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7rNzgC2fEBVpb-q_acpsmw) where we share all our content, in 100 % completeness, entirely free of charge. We have exceptional content on DSA, Web Dev, and CORE subjects. Besides that, we also have roadmaps and stories of successful students and sometimes a little productivity hack.
  • We are very passionately working on producing the best talent who is daring to learn new stuff, solve amazing problems, and be passionate about learning. I dream of creating a commune where people live on the campus and spend their time doing simply two things - learning and teaching via the internet.

Nagarro

Associate Team Lead

Sep 2012Sep 2017 · 5 yrs · Gurgaon, India

  • I started in Nagarro as a Web Developer and worked on an ASP.Net MVC application for a year. It was the first time I got introduced to the culture of a service-based company, and I truly enjoyed the fact that I could change projects to enhance my learning instead of switching companies.
  • I absolutely love that I was allowed to transition from a developer to a teaching role when I led the "fresher training team" in Nagarro. Besides that, I enjoyed being part of other mentorships programs in Nagarro, like NTEG, New Technology Exploration Group. Here, I first-hand came across the spirit of experimentation in a large organization when Nagarro mapped me from development to training on my request. I will always be thankful to Nagarro for helping me grow so much.

Senior Software Engineer

Jan 2011Sep 2012 · 1 yr 8 mos · Greater Delhi Area

  • It was my first job where I got the independence to explore a topic in detail and devise what to implement and how to implement. I worked on an XML-based framework for exchanging data called SDMX. SDMX, i.e., Statistical Data and Metadata exchange, was used to facilitate the exchange of Human Development Indicators.
  • The best part of this job was my independence while implementing my ideas, and I also got to mentor a junior. Along the way, I also forged relations which I treasure to date.

  • It was the first job that I ever had. I was out of depth during the first month. While working there, I got completely enamored by technology and programming. And, also I first-hand saw the power of a passionate team. Also, I got introduced to how an informal environment and flexible timings can help in team bonding and increased productivity. The kind of output we used to produce in short spans of time was simply amazing. I cherish the amazing friendships that I fostered in IVP and learning so much in programming, productivity, and social skills.
  • I worked on a financial product for the Hedge Funds industry called Recon, which helped match the prime broker trades with that of hedge fund, in layman terms, a file comparer. I got introduced to C#, .Net, and SQL for the first time during this project.
