• CS50 organizes ~8-10 projects per quarter, partnering teams of Stanford students with non-profits in order to create responsible tech solutions to world problems. Projects I’ve specifically led were with the United Nations Refugee Agency, the American Red Cross, and the Stanford Peace Innovation Lab. Work involves mentoring student teams, planning classes every week (MWF), bringing in class speakers, organizing skills workshops, and coordinating the CS50 End-Of-Quarter Project Showcase. Jun 2016 – Aug 2016 · 2 mos · San Ramon, CA

• Wrote a Python script that combined two linting tools to automatically clean the team’s codebase. Used Chrome’s Developer Tools to conduct Profile Analysis; identified fixes to memory leaks and areas of high CPU usage in code. Replicated the app’s current graph behavior using D3.js in preparation for future transition from Highcharts.js. Spearheaded effort to revamp existing application with new core graphing functionality which will replace the current product by the end of Q3 (using Polymer.js).

• Focused on finding ways to allow large-scale volunteer involvement in social issues via crowdsourcing. Conducted needfinding on college campuses, at local events, and at refugee resettlement NGO offices. Ran a mini-donation drive for incoming refugees and created prototypes of crowdsourced refugee welcome baskets. Worked on potential prototypes for a crowdsourced refugee/immigrant Q&A web platform (used Angular.js, HTML5, and CSS).

Dec 2015 – Feb 2016 · 2 mos · San Francisco Bay Area

• Developed the company's client-side iOS application, which aims to connect clients with registered healthcare providers to help them lead healthier daily lives. I was responsible for completing the last 50% of the app's development, which includes implementing the app's Activity Feed, Appointment Booking, Stripe/Apple Pay Payment Options, Video Chat, and User Profile features. The front-end is coded in Swift, and the back-end is managed using Parse/Javascript. After helping develop the company's mobile app for their initial launch, I was named as a founding member of the company for my efforts.

• Starting in 2010, I began helping my parents with their real-estate business by managing their website. After taking a couple introductory computer science classes at Stanford, I re-designed their website over the summer of 2015 using a Wordpress Template and custom CSS. Additionally, I also worked with Northstar MLS to add in their IDX Search Engine into the website. My current responsibilities involve responding to online customer inquiries and updating information on the site as needed.
