Hi, I’m Himanshu and I’m the founder of Winston, a personal care brand that made it to Shark Tank India and into thousands of homes across the country. Today, we’ve got 14+ SKUs ranging from eyebrow trimmers to LED face masks, available across Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, and Tata Cliq. We closed FY24-25 at ₹35CR in revenue and we’re now chasing ₹75CR in FY25-26 But the journey began much earlier. I come from a business family that’s been distributing brands like LG, Blue Star, and Philips for decades. I grew up around warehouses, margin sheets, and service calls, and somewhere along the way, I realised I didn’t just want to sell other people’s products. I wanted to build my own. After completing my MBA at IMT Ghaziabad, I joined the family business full-time. But over time, Nikita (my wife) and I spotted a clear gap in the market. No one was really building grooming tools that felt premium yet affordable, especially in the ₹4,000 to ₹18,000 range. The budget products felt clunky, and the premium ones were out of reach too. So we launched Winston, built for Indian users, designed with intention, and backed by real feedback. We started with one trimmer on Instagram. Since then, we’ve developed our own moulds, navigated BIS certifications, and scaled a hardware-first D2C brand from scratch. We’re not here to self-hype. We’re here to build trust, deliver quality, and make products that actually last. Outside work, I’m into fitness, squash, coffee, and good packaging (yes, that counts).
