• Final update: we sold V-Enable business to a top 100 internet company for $XM. Amazing learning experience for my co-founders and me. Update 2012: what SIRI is now is what we created back in 2001. Way ahead of its time: recognition technology, network bandwidth (1xRTT), consumer awareness etc. V-Enable focussed on vertical apps such as voice enabled searching carrier decks for ringtones, wallpapers and in future local businesses. Have a granted patent that should find real value based on recent value of patents!
• After leaving Nokia, D founded V-Enable in 2001. V-Enable was the first multimodal (speech+text) product in the market and was commercially launched on Verizon, Alltel, MetroPCS. V-Enable holds granted and pending patents on speech recognition, voice search etc.
