To me, growth stops the moment you get comfortable with where you are. That’s why I believe that one should constantly strive to do things that push them to achieve more. Although I started my career as a project manager, being a software engineer, I later discovered that academics was my true calling. I wanted to share my knowledge with others, to be able to inspire the next generation of leaders & be able to contribute to the advancement of the field of engineering & technology. During my tenure at Amity University, I was tasked with internationalizing education. The role opened a whole new world of opportunities for me, allowing me to align curricula with global standards & create a global learning experience. My journey has allowed me to travel to more than 25 countries, visiting and fostering relations at top universities like Stanford University, MIT, Harvard University, Cambridge University, Oxford University, The Australian National University, University of Toronto, NUS, NTU. Transitioning to Bennett University, one of my proudest achievements has been establishing the Global AI Summit - a conference where leaders from international universities come together to discuss the latest advancements in artificial intelligence. My aim is to leverage these international conferences & connections to position Bennett on the global stage. I am the proud recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award 2021 and the Best Director Award from SAS Society. Under my mentorship, 2000+ students have participated in international exchange programs at universities such as NUS, Georgia Tech, University of California, Berkeley, the University of Florida & more. Additionally, I secured an agreement with Babson College, USA, the top-ranked college for entrepreneurship. I have published over 130 papers, hold 5 patents and have guided 10+ PhD students and more than 100 postgraduate students. With more than 30+ years of experience, I currently lead and mentor a team of more than 320+ members including faculty and lab assistants at Bennett University. My passion for international collaborations and understanding of global education have been key factors in my success. These have allowed me to establish deep connections with international professors and create opportunities for my students to engage with experts in various fields. I believe that global exposure helps students broaden their perspectives and enhances their learning experiences.
