Born to a civil engineer, he has had a life of privilege and access. As the eldest among three siblings, he developed a sense of responsibility and nurturing, imparting empathy and an awareness of collective good. Early schooling from a Missionary imparted appreciation for discipline along with time. His later schooling in a Vedic school making him more open to new ideas and thought processes. These changes were seen as an opportunity to interact with new people, and such interactions greatly enhanced his interpersonal skills. Requesting a stranger for a seat in a bus when in need and offering your seat to an elderly lady in the same bus were wholesome learning experiences. Fondness of participating in team sports further helped him in appreciating the value of cooperation and coordination as a team. This curiosity led to the pursuing of a Bachelor’s program in Architecture. He completed his B.Arch. from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, which is a renowned institution that absorbs the brightest minds from across the globe. This further extended the horizons of his mind by making him further more accepting of different people, cultures and ideas. He remained associated with execution projects, field research and whatever came along while pursuing B.Arch., inculcating an understanding of multitasking and managing multiple roles simultaneously. Equipped with knowledge, he became further interested in learning and pursued a Masters degree in Building Engineering and Management. This greatly improved the understanding of construction related processes, both executive and managerial. Simultaneous engagement with real estate organizations gave exposure to live projects and established professionals. He has worked with real estate firms of repute and on projects ranging from a small dwelling unit to a 650 Acre township. Gaining the knowledge of practical application of his technical education, he is currently pursuing a career as an academician. This enriching experience in the last five years has re-molded him as a lifelong learner, deeply cherishing the company of bright, young minds and assisting them in shaping up their professional lives. Being involved with real estate projects and academia simultaneously has also groomed him as a multifaceted professional who balances between imbibing, imparting and applying knowledge.
