In this project, we are developing a model of low mass galaxy formation in the early Universe. Here, we make use of the simple analytical model for bursty star formation (Furlanetto & Mirocha, 2022), in which there is a time lag between the formation of stars and the eventual feedback process. Between the feedback episodes, the galaxy can accrete large gas reservoirs, and the feedback itself can then drive the gas away from the galaxy, resulting in a bursty type star formation. We also hope to combine this with the gas accretion into low mass dark matter halos in the presence of UV background (Kravtsov & Manwadkar, 2021), and then model properties of low mass galaxies. These low mass galaxies can become satellite galaxies of the Milky Way in the present-day Universe.
