Abhishek Agarwalla — CEO
Been building AI products since 2018, but I refuse to call myself an "AI expert" just yet. Self-awareness is a skill too, right? My journey into tech entrepreneurship started in the most logical way possible - by getting a Petroleum Engineering degree from one of the IITs in India and then... not using it. One year after graduating, I took the startup plunge instead. For the next 6 years, I helped other startups build AI products, working closely with CTOs and AI leaders who knew what they were doing (most of the time). Then, in 2024, after spending 10,000+ hours hiring engineers, salespeople, and leaders, my co-founders and I had an epiphany: why not build AI agents to solve the most draining parts of recruitment (the ones that burn recruiters out and make them want to switch to HR operations). Long story short, our experiment worked and we were off to the races. And that's how Fabric started. Now, I'm deep in the trenches of startup life, figuring things out one fire drill at a time. Follow along as I share the unfiltered truth about building an AI startup from scratch - less "crushing it", more "surviving to the next milestone."
