I used teaching to sustain myself and bring about change, but I always said, "Teaching is my path, not my destination." I was slightly wrong when life came full circle at Mugafi. A mathematician by degree and a writer by heart, I became the youngest person in the world to join ILPSE INSEAD to get a chance to learn from not just the world's best teachers but also the best batchmates one can get. Chapter 2 - The Hustle Over the last decade, I have taught 200+ Students, Founded and Scaled businesses like Rutogo (acquired by ixigo), Cricnwin (Scaled to 10Mn users, 100Mn audience, launched first ICO), and Randomly. Club (Profitably Bootstrapped with Multi-million dollar ARR and over 100Mn downloads). Some were bootstrapped, and some were VC-funded, but through these companies, I could touch the lives of more than 100 million audiences across the globe. I have been an inactive angel investor to over 30 US, Indian & SEA companies. All this I have done in the last 14 years, starting from a call center job in 2010, where I got fired on my 52nd day. Current Chapter - The Surge I believe that India, the land of Kalidasa and Tansen, where the most considerable magnum opus like Mahabharata and Ramayana unfolded, can rightfully reclaim its spot as the entertainment hub of the world, which led to founding Mugafi, and through Mugafi, I am on a mission to discover the hidden talents and stupendous content that the world is yet to see. Highlights of the story thus far:- # Creators @Mugafi have developed 1000+ IPs & earned Million of dollars at Mugafi in the last year. # Zomato acquired my first portfolio company, Fitso. # Around 60% of my invested companies have raised follow-on rounds, and 30% are at Series A or beyond; & I learned from the rest 10% failures.
