As a member of the Asia Pacific Marketing Leadership Team at Mastercard, Kaveri Khullar drives Marketing, Sponsorships, and Gaming in the region, shaping Mastercard as a premier lifestyle brand and the world’s most progressive technology company in payments. Kaveri’s career began in the fashion capitals of Paris and Milan, where she gained firsthand insights into the global luxury industry. Transitioning to the corporate world, she joined Virgin Records, immersing herself in music and pop culture as a sales & marketing executive. Her passion for luxury and lifestyle drew her to Diageo six years later, where she played a pivotal role in launching Diageo Reserve, the company’s ultra-premium portfolio, and later headed marketing for the Johnnie Walker franchise. In 2015, Kaveri relocated to Singapore to spearhead Global Marketing Innovation for Johnnie Walker Superdeluxe, leveraging her expertise in affluent consumer insights across India, SEA, and China. Her strategic vision and impact earned her recognition among Asia Pacific’s 50 most influential marketers [Campaign Asia Pacific, Power 50, 2018]. Kaveri joined Mastercard in 2019, leading a team of digital and marketing experts to help grow its share of voice in ASEAN, and augment its cross-border travel revenue by combining the power of technology with her strong understanding of the affluent segment. Her efforts in enriching Mastercard's experiences hub - priceless.com, through culinary and lifestyle brand partnerships have made it a commercially successful B2B and B2C channel. As Asia’s Head Marketing and Sponsorships, Kaveri guides investments in world-class events like the Australian Open and Cricket World Cup, integrating Sponsorships, Digital and Brand into a single powerful function to be deployed direct-to-consumer or via customers. In 2020, she pioneered a first to world gaming product—Mastercard Gamer Exchange—an innovative platform that unlocks new revenue streams in the gaming industry while addressing loyalty challenges, delivering financial value to financial and non-financial institutions. This innovation won her the Women in Payments Innovation Award2025🏆🏅. Kaveri plays a critical role in shaping Mastercard’s Asia Pacific Advisory Board discussions on macroeconomic trends, and tech innovation. Passionate about mentoring the next generation, she lectures on marketing innovation at the Singapore Management University.
