• I founded VComply to solve a simple but massive problem: compliance and risk execution in most organizations is fragmented, reactive, and fundamentally broken.
• From an idea conceived in Kolkata, I built VComply into a global, Accel-backed SaaS company delivering a category-defining Compliance & Risk Operating System (CROS) for mid-market organizations especially in healthcare, nonprofit, and energy sectors. These are industries where regulation is critical, but existing solutions are either non-existent or too complex.
• As founder, I’ve led every phase of VComply’s evolution:
• Product leadership: Designed and evolved our core platform from first principles to meet real-world operational risk challenges not just framework checklists.
• Go-to-market strategy: Entered and scaled in difficult verticals where we’re often the first platform replacing spreadsheets and email workflows.
• Team-building: Built a high-output team across geographies, with 95%+ first-time SaaS professionals trained and led through multiple pivots and pandemic cycles.
• Capital & stakeholder management: Raised $8.5M+ from tier-1 investors like Accel; navigated board dynamics, investor pressure, and operational constraints while maintaining long-term vision.
• Execution under pressure: Steered the company through aggressive targets, high churn cycles, and founder-level challenges — delivering consistent ARR growth and strong customer engagement.
• VComply is now recognized as a trusted platform powering frontline compliance in organizations across the U.S., Middle East, and Asia with growing demand in sectors previously underserved by GRC software.
