• Wrote "pack on desktop and unpack on edge device" programs for compressing firmware files before transferring them over a low-speed dial-up line to the edge device. This was achieved within a stack space of 8 kilobytes and helped win a key deal for Verifone.
• I was directly responsible for executing the product strategy for TCP/IP-based wireless credit/debit payment solutions for ETSL, New Zealand (on CDMA) and American Express, Thailand (on 802.11b/Wi-Fi) where we achieved product certification in the very first attempt. Included multiple trips to the customer regions and required working with key business stakeholders.
• Rewrote the packet communication layer for request/response with the credit/debit card processing host using the ISO 8583 protocol.
