I’ve spent over a decade helping scale some of India’s most recognized startups, including OYO and Lendingkart. Those years taught me how to grow fast, but somewhere along the way, I started asking a different question: what does it mean to grow well?That question took me to Sakleshpur in the heart of the Western Ghats. I found a piece of land that felt alive, the kind of place where the sound of birds and the smell of rain remind you what balance actually feels like.It started small. Two cottages, a handful of trees, and a personal retreat for my family. We listed it on marketplaces just to experiment, and we were surprised by the amazing response. Guests loved it. They didn’t just want to stay; they wanted to belong.That’s when the idea for Swasya Living came to life.We saw how managed farmland had become a buzzword, yet most experiences were broken with poor upkeep, little transparency, and no sense of community.
