About

I have almost 2 decades of experience across the digital industry and strategy consulting domain. I started out as a chip designer at Intel in Bangalore. Post my MBA I was with McKinsey as a strategy consultant for 3 years working across different sectors - banking, government services, information technology and manufacturing. The bug to try something different bit me in 2012 and I ended up taking a leap of faith by joining a startup 'building for the world from India' - India's first unicorn 'InMobi'. In my 13 year stint at InMobi, I have played various roles, straddled multiple geographies and had the opportunity to build 0 to 1 businesses and scale from 10 to 1000. I grew from the founders' office to CBO in a decade with a steep learning curve and accelerated growth path. I have had 3 phases or avatars at InMobi : 1. Phase 1 (2012-2015): I joined the Founders office in a very high growth phase, learning and absorbing the mobile advertising space. I did a short stint at product management, helped setup and scale our global inside sales business & account management teams and took on strategic partnerships for APAC. 2. Phase 2 (2016-2022): During this time, I stepped into a GM role owning revenue and P&L and leading sales, account management and revenue functions for India and then APAC covering India, SEA, Japan, Korea and ANZ. I was responsible for the end to end business strategy, revenue growth, customer success and strategic partnerships in these markets. 3. Phase 3 (2022- 2025): In this time as Chief Business Officer, I led the end to end advertising monetization for InMobi's consumer platform - Glance covering product, go-to-market, revenue, strategy and operations globally. In 2023, I expanded my charter to cover all demand side platforms for InMobi globally. Outside work, I serve as independent director/ board member for Kaya Skin Clinic and Indiamart (both public listed). I was also on the board for Nephroplus (India’s largest dialysis network) for a year. I was a member of the IAMAI Governing Council and MMA APAC Board as well. I have been fortunate to receive a lot of industry recognition - Economic Times Women Ahead 2018, Campaign Asia Women to Watch 2020, Campaign Asia 40 under 40 2021, Economic Times 40 under 40 2022, IMPACT 50 most influential Women in Media & Marketing from 2018 - 2023 consecutively. I am passionate about leadership as a topic, especially women in leadership and am associated with different forums and mentorship programs which foster leadership skills in women early in their careers.
