Former Bangalore boy. Mumbai resident. Engineer. Writer. Started at Ogilvy as a copywriter in 2008. At 23, Runner-up, V Mahesh Creative Of the Year-2009, Ogilvy India. Worked in advertising at the mercy of some good, bad and terrible clients for 7 years. In the May of 2015, moved to All India Bakchod (AIB) as one of their first writing hires. Witnessed the company grow from six people to 40 people in the three and a half years of my employment (May 2015 to Dec 2018). At AIB, headed a team of 10 writers; wrote, directed, supervised content and branded content for the collective, and was incharge of the overall creative output of the AIB YouTube channel. During my stint at AIB, I was also one of the writers on the first season of On Air With AIB - a topical weekly news comedy show that was broadcasted on Hotstar, Star Plus and Star World. Also write satire and opinion pieces for Firstpost, ThePrint, Arre, Buzzfeed, The Hindu BusinessLine, etc., in my free time. Most recently led the creative team on IPL campaigns for cred, disney+ hotstar and smallcase, Produced 'Borderlands' - a documentary film that premiered at the prestigious Dok fest Munchen and was nominated in the Work In Progress section at Cannes. Currently producing a true crime docu series for a global OTT major while consulting and investing in early stage web3 and web2 start ups.
