As a marketer, i look for challenges-building a brand, a team or identifying segments that drive profitability. I am a content enthusiast and love building brands through content that moves people. In a career spanning 2 decades, I’ve managed initiatives that’ve been recognised and awarded multiple times across CMO Asia, DMAi and many more. At IDFC FIRST Bank, I had the privilege of building some of India’s most coveted large impact properties and sponsorships spanning sports marketing across spectatorial and participative sports ( BCCI, Marathons), thought leadership and segment led IPs. At SugarBox Networks, I set up the marketing and Comms team across Brand,Digital,Creative,PR and Partnership marketing. At PayPal, I handled the Merchant acquisition vertical within marketing for all international Growth markets including SEA, India, Middle East, Africa, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, China, LATAM and select European geographies. From SMBs to large enterprises, it gave me the opportunity to build brand PayPal one country at a time as we expanded our footprint while enabling cross border business. Earlier, as Head- Marketing at PayPal India, i spearheaded the marketing strategy for both sides of our network -the Consumer and Business segment in India. I was responsible for managing budgets, acquisition targets and P&L . In my previous stints across some of the world's best brands, I've juggled roles across traditional marketing, product communication and managing proposition. From assets to liabilities, consumer to business segments, sponsorships to activations, I’ve led teams that’ve helped brands shine and gain market share. My strength lies in growing and nurturing teams to deliver at high levels. I've worked on fabulous marketing campaigns and large sponsorship properties such as the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon which has been awarded across multiple categories. A keen understanding of products and interest in driving business through marketing efforts has always been my forte.Having managed Proposition /Product roles,i have a good understanding of customer segments. I've led cross functional teams that've launched new online products/platforms at HSBC InvestDirect, TimesofMoney's new remittance platform for elite customers and the hugely successful digital referral program MOR. My areas of interest include working on ATL/BTL campaigns, product marketing.I have a well rounded exposure in managing digital,on-ground and location specific campaigns for branches to create campaigns that deliver on ROI
