A builder at heart, with over 15 years of experience in the Indian eCommerce sector. I was part of the founding team that launched Amazon in India. In this period, I have had the opportunity to launch and profitably scale several Billion-dollar Businesses and Products for Amazon across domestic eCommerce, fulfillment and financial services. Currently, I head Amazon India's multi-Billion dollar cross-border marketplace. In my role I lead a remarkable team of Product, Technology, Sales, Marketing and Operations leaders who are building the capability for over ~70,000 Indian SMEs/D2C Brands sell to hundreds of millions of customers across the world. As someone who had the opportunity to see eCommerce and technology ecosystem evolve in India I am a big believer in the role technology products play as a scale enabler for businesses. Consequently, you’d often find me speaking about leveraging technology to build D2C brands and companies.
