Hi - I am Sid! I have over 18 years of experience in a non-linear career. I started as a backend developer (Oracle 9i/10g) and moved to full-stack development with MS Silverlight. Moved to a pre-sales role within the ITeS domain and then jumped into Marketing-oriented roles in the education technology domain, and that's where my love for startups started. I worked across roles (affiliate->content marketing->growth automation) and then consulted as a product marketing manager for a Canadian-based healthtech company for a short duration. I then joined CleverTap as their Head of Digital Marketing, where I designed their global digital acquisition strategy and incubated the SDR team. Following my tenure at CleverTap, my marketing journey continued, and I took on the role of leading the entire Marketing team at Verloop, where I worked on branding, customer acquisition, and retention. A stint at a Venture Capital firm followed this (Sequoia Capital (now Peak XV)), where I had the fantastic opportunity to consult multiple SaaS / AI companies and found myself often at the forefront of technological shifts/changes. In August 2023, I founded YellowKyte, a SaaS Marketing agency that functions like a plug-and-play digital marketing team.
