Puneet is the Chairman of the CII AI Council, part of the Executive Council at NASSCOM, Governing Member of NASSCOM IT & ITeS Council, part of National Council of CII, and the Government of India's Responsible AI Council. He is on the Advisory Councils of Penguin Random House and NAMTECH. Puneet was recognized as a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) for Computer Engineering and Information Technology and awarded the Doctor of Philosophy (Honoris Causa) from the Bennett University.
