  • Reducing the Environmental Impact of 3D Printing... one spool at a time!
  • Whilst adoption of 3D printing - a rapidly-growing manufacturing technology - is fundamentally less wasteful than traditional, subtractive methods, the use of plastic as a material feedstock has the potential to further exacerbate the global plastic epidemic unless we can find a sustainable, circular solution.
  • Filamentive sources appropriate waste plastics - both post-consumer and post-industrial - to then be recycled to produced high quality filament (plastic “ink”) for 3D printers. By providing a sustainable source of raw materials to 3D printing users, we are simultaneously finding new uses for plastic waste, reducing extraction of virgin plastics and meeting growing demand for plastic 3D printing consumables.
  • As MD, I am responsible for strategy, material sourcing, sales, marketing, financial analysis, and recruitment.

Work Experience

Jun 2012Jul 2012 · 1 mo

  • I undertook a self-sought placement at a Barrlett Wealth Management where I was able to utilise my networking skills by liaising with other employees. I particularly enjoyed learning how the business monitors financial markets in order to decide which investments to offer their clients. The experience was a great insight into the financial services sector and an office environment in general.
