• I had worked over these three projects during my intern.
• 1) Voice Prosthesis - Successful replication of Provox device made by medical grade silicone rubber using die molding process. Designed the molds of flanges, flap, inner ring in Solidworks, manufactured and created experimental setup to test the device performance under conditions similar to oesophagus. The setup was tested for a range of pressures and flap thicknesses and optimal parameters were found.
• 2) Biliscope – Designed and constructed the model of biliscope (device for neonatal jaundice diagnostics) using Solidworks and Accucraft s150 3d printer, showcased in CAMTech India. The biliscope is a small hand held gadget, simple to operate with an android device and real time results are obtained which can be accessed by doctors for further analysis.
• 3) CPD Diagnosis Tool – Designed a CPD Diagnosis tool using Solidworks and made a 3d printed prototype using accucraft. This tool is used to measure the diaphragm diameter and decide the mode of delivery. This tool has not been implemented anywhere.
